Begins her professional career in 1968 in Boras, Sweden. Lives and works in Paris between 1971 and 1976. Settles in Barcelona in 1977. Works with advertising agencies, public institutions (Catalan Autonomous Government, Barcelona Municipal Government, PSOE, PSC, Expo 92, Canal+, ONCE), publishing houses (Planeta, ediciones Zeta), and Spanish and international magazines and newspapers (Vogue, Uomo Vogue, Time, The New York Times, The Sunday Times, Elle, Marie-Claire, El País, La Vanguardia). Official portrait photographer of the 1992 Olympic Game ceremonies in Barcelona. She has exhibited her work in: Instituto de Estudios Norteamericanos (Barcelona 1982); Sala Vinçon (Barcelona 1991); Expo 92 (Sevilla 1992); Centro Cultural La Caixa (Barcelona 1994); Hasselblad Center (Gothenburg 1995); Fundación Guifré (Barcelona 2003); Casa Decor (Barcelona 2005); Galería María José Castellví (Barcelona 2007, 2009), Foyer of the Gran Teatre del Liceu (Barcelona 2008) and in the Palau Robert (Barcelona 2009). The hotels 1898 and U232 display her photographs taken in the Philippines and Barcelona, respectively, as an integral part of their decoration. Nuñez y Navarro has published the books: H1898, with a selection of work from the Philippines, and Rehabilitación, with images of their singular buildings throughout the city of Barcelona. Novaera Publications has published El otro / The other, on her particular vision of Barcelona’s Raval neighborhood (Barcelona 2007). Silver Lion in Cannes 2002 for the film Orígenes: año internacional Gaudí and the award for best medicine commercial in 1996 for Bayer Aspirin. Premio Qwerty 2007, awarded by Barcelona Televisió, for the book El otro/The other. Director of photography for the documentary Las variaciones Gould (1992) by Manuel Huerga and director of the insert Retrato in the film Septiembres (2007) by Carlos Bosch. |
